Standard Denso has been purchased and collected from TRS in Lonsdale.
Now to fit at some stage over the next couple of days.
    Thanks for people's input!

Hi, is the part number that you purchased LR072756? As mine just today has started making a screeching noise for about 5-10sec on a cold start too(202k km)
    Thanks Paul.

Had my local mechanic install today. Sounds like a PITA on the SDV6. He felt he had to pull half the front out the car. Ended up having to extend a wire to complete the job which I've read before. Sorry I cannot document the process as it seems it differs quite a bit from the 2.7's.

It’s not easy but not that bad. Nothing had to come out to do mine, but yes, the rear sensor wire is a right pain. It has a connector that for the life of you is impossible to work out from under the car with your hand stretched into that awkward position if you’ve never done it before. It’s why many people just cut the wire, lengthen and solder it - like I did lol.

It’s still a two hour job for an amateur on the SD.
