They are quite heavy. I got a surprise when mine arrived. I bought mine through an AULRO group buy

Found they have an ebay store (Tuff-rok). Mudflaps on there show a freight charge of about $A77 "Express to Australia", plus an import charge of about $A14. But in the text of the ad it states that the freight charge is for UK deliveries only and to contact them for "other locations".

Is this hike in freight something to do with Brexit?? Or just greedy freight companies now they are getting more work with everyone buying online. I'm guessing the latter.

that is the price of Royal Mail to Australia sadly. You may get a better deal with a freight company but you'll have to organise for them to be picked up. I emailed tuffrok about this very issue also and got a pretty poor response ("take it or leave it"). In the end I got them posted to a friend in London for 7 pounds and they brought them back to Australia for me in their luggage.

Royal Mail Economy Parcel to Australia

I lived in the UK for a few years and sent parcels back using the Royal Mail. Quite reliable.

This retailer surely does business with Royal Mail.
From the Royal Mail website, an up to 2kgs parcel post to Australia costs GBP 14.25. (AUD 21.30)
Are the mudflaps less than 2kgs?
The catch is that it takes up to 12 weeks till delivery.
For items that are not so time sensitive. This may be a good alternative?
The Tuff Rock mudflaps do have a wonderful reputation for quality. Thank you.

My guess Is maybe like 10kg for all 4. They’re seriously big and therefore heavy

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the good advice again everyone - I went with the tuffroks - $258 delivered from their ebay shopfront.

Also, have to say that Steve from Britishautoparts was very good in dealing with the unfolding debacle in regard to the full set of after market I ordered - which was a lumbering fail over the last couple of months - but he has fully refunded my purchase and my return freight. Well done Steve!

Cannon, have received any advice from the seller. I haven't - silence over 48hrs is a bit odd.

ps. funny operator. I emailed them and replied Hi, As per our listing mudflaps take up to 5 working days as they are made to order Tuff-Rok team.

Fairly to the point. That was not obvious to me but typically you get a order confirmation from a seller pretty quickly. Anyway, I think that is confirmation of my order
