Thread: Air suspension struts - how can they still be good after 250k?

    My D3 is sitting on original air struts and 349,000 km. Only 1 has an issue with a split in the bag, the other 3 are still hanging in there with no signs of problems developing.

    I can 100% guarantee it rides nowhere near like it should…

    Wait until you throw new struts in, you won’t know yourself!

    Interesting thread.

    I checked with previous owner and also tried to verify that mine still are original ones, at 329k kms now without leaks.

    I compared directly with my wife's Prado Altitude 2012 model (has air suspension too) and the D3 has easier and better ride over local bumps.
