    Engine oil recommendation

Can anyone recommend the engine oil for D4 SDV6 2014?

I have been using Penrite for my D2.

    Thanks
    Gus

    HPR5 which is 5w -40

    Probably best oil.

I've used cat DEO ULS 15W-40 for about 20,000ks with no issues.

I've used Valvoline in my D3 since I've owned it. My current recommendation is Synpower MST 5W40

    Engine oil recommendation

So.... I always buy a 6L bottle, measure 300ml out and pour in the rest. But!! They also sell 5L bottles. Lucky I check the oil occasionally. Took me a while to figure it out

Use whatever brand is preferred,as long as it is the specified oil for the engine, you will have nothing to worry about.

The manufacturer may use a different spec oil for a different ambient, just change to suit if needed.

Unless there is a problem with the engine, why change from the what the manufacturer specifies?
