    Toyo A32 265/60R18 on a D3?

    Anyone tried Toyo A32 tyres ona D3?
    The wheel alignment guy said my old Coopers are out of round and I can get access to some near new Toyos which were original equipment on 2016 Pajero Sports. Wasn't expecting a $1600 quote for new tyres today!

    The reviews aren't very encouraging.

    No experience with the A32, but I have had the same size Toyo's in an AT2 on my D4 for quite some time now. Never any issues with them. The supplier I bought them from tells me that they are the best selling tyre in that size among the mining companies / contractors around here as they are known to give better life than anything else available for similar dollars. I also had them on my last HiLux dual cab tray top work ute, and they performed well on that vehicle - which was often driven over some pretty rough and very rocky bush tracks.

    I'll probably be up for another set of tyres later this year if we manage to get across to Victoria / Tassie again as planned. So far, I'm thinking of sticking with the Toyo's if they are still available and competitively priced. Might look at upgrading to their AT3 if I get good reports on them.

    I do not use this brand, but I am using full set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/60/R18 on my D3. A full set of 5 including alignment and fitment was $275 x 5 at Tempe Tyres (last year price) before and I am still very happy with it.

    * After discussing with Tempe Tyres who suggested Falken Wildpeak AT3W is the 2nd best tyre just after BF GoodRich KO2

    Look wide and aggressive enough on the side tracks, and it really does a very well job of on-road use and towing.

    Once I did the test of off-road mountain towing my 2T Caravan (when the tyres were still on my D2 TD5) and it was awesome.

    Over 25k kms and the tyres still look like brand new from the sides.

    Never done real hardcore off-road but it would not be a problem.
