I was going to borrow Shanes repaired one to get a look at the repair, but I'd be interested in getting a look at an "unmolested" faulty unit to see how hard it might be to re-work given all the "intelligence" on the net points toward lead-free solder related issues.
I had a quick look at the one i removed and couldn't see anything obvious without a microscope, i would see if i could fix one as i have a rework station that i have used for xbox 360's that got the famous RROD errors which was down to solder cracking on the GPU/motherboard .Quote:
