    The Japanese taught us that back in the 70s.. Having different looms for different trim levels is a massive strain on inventory and "Just in Time" manufacturing. LR may have caught up....

    Have a look under the dash of the S and it will have unused wiring all over the place
    I think so too. From my experience when owning a D2 i saw the Manual S and HSE sharing most of the wiring.

    Probably I would remove both interior parts to see what wires they have there before going further.

    OT, perhaps, but Christian shows how to do it with one hoist. Wheeled frame for the body.

    Yeah, this is very encouraging to me. Still doing more research before pulling the bullet to get them on hoists.
