    sunvisor part numbers D3

    ok folks,

    D3 2007 SE
as I am getting new roof liner done I wanted to replace the sunvisors which have the cloth sagging and are quite daggy as you can imagine after 16 years of use.

Anyone have the part numbers for these?

    thanks
    cheers

    sunvisor part numbers D3

I've had interior trimmers do them on customers cars and trucks before mate.

Edit- I'd go leather or pleather as it's easier to clean

Silly me, expected the visors and even the windscreen columns to be done as part of the headlining, when I had mine done, but mine don't look too bad as the new fabric is a close enough match, so the difference is not noticed at first glance.

Pillars were done, I elected not to have visors done as I wanted to get originals, is that ok with you?

As my roof and pillars steadily fall apart I’ve been wondering what to do with the visors. I’m quite partial to the LR pictures and data on the drivers side.

My plan is to remove all myself but will have to use a small trailer to get to the trim shop.

Was thinking to cut out the LR graphics and glue these over the retrimmed visors in same location. Guess the new ones will be about $400 once landed in Oz. About same as relining not including removal costs.

be prepared for a price shock. Visors are $315 each, clips are $115 each.

Has anyone had any success with regluing the headliner/sunvisor fabric in situ, say by injecting glue under the fabric?

Mission Impossible I’d say as the liner includes the fabric and a foam backing which all needs to come off to properly fix. You could pull the fabric off and live with what’s behind it. You’d have to cut around all the fittings on the roof.
