Thread: Territory 2.7 into RRS Which timing belt?

front belt is the same.

rear belt:
*if your rrs is an early one (2005 ish) you have to use your high pressure fuel pump and the mounts, plastic bits, there for use an early belt.

*you can identify a early engine as there is a short common rail at the back of the engine near the high pressure fuel pump
*a common rail being like the fuel rail on the side that the injectors connect.

Another Quick one if I may!
The Territory replacement has a lot more K's than I wanted but all I could afford. It has 280K on the clock.
The old engine had barley 60K so obviously I will be swapping everything I can from the old engine.
I was going to leave the heads on and just do stem seals, rocker arms etc. Do you think that's the way to go?
Should i take the heads off and do a full rebuild while its out? Anything else you could recommend?

Any advice from anyone would be much appreciated.
