Suspension reservoir hose

Had a weird experience yesterday, with a normal height only fault on the disco.
Reservoir filling too slowly as the code, but the problem was pretty obvious - loud hissing noise from under the left side of the car.
Opened up the compressor cover, had a close look but all looked fine. So, using the IID I started the compressor up without the engine on - the pressure hose for the reservoir tank had blown out of its housing on the tank.
Using some nose pliers I pushed it back in, and all is well again, but it did worry me - how the hell does that happen? There are heaps of these fittings in the system and I’ve never read of one coming loose!
I watched the gallery pressure as I was testing, and it pushed all the way up to 1800kpa, which I thought a touch high for the amk compressor logic? Took a while to get there, so will no doubt need to replace the drier beads soon.
Has anyone else had this?
