    HDC fault

New to the forum and I'm sure this subject is covered somewhere. I replaced some trailer fuses at the back of the car and tidied up some wiring on my trailers plug. Also ran the battery dead flat. Now I have hdc fault message. Tried hard reset but no luck. Where can I find a solution or info. Thanks

    Hi Discobox
    Welcome to the forum.
Knowing what you are driving will help get a useful answer. From your user name and question I assume a Disco 2, 3, 4 or 5
There are sections of the forum for all the different Land Rover models, posting in those sections will get to the people with the answers.

    Again Welcome.

    Tony

What is the specific fault? Have you got a code reader?

    Hdc fault

I have a code reader, it showed p0110 air temperature. Fixed. I ran the battery flat whilst working on the plug on my trailer. Recharged the battery and now showing hdc fault and special something or other not available which is terrain response. Everything worked fine before battery went flat. I did buy it with the check engine light on but fixed that issue. This seems to be something to do with running the battery flat.

Since the battery has gone flat and then fully recharged, you may need to re-calibrate the battery so the computers know everything is now OK.
