i bought the foam and i think it was spot on what is supplied.
tried mounting it up this Sunday but was wrestling for i think 6 hours trying to get it on.

When the top is mounted properly the bottom holes are ~3cm to low, tried hard to bend it enough to get it in place but in the end i had to call it quits.
got it sort of mounted with the top ledge slightly off but that did not work as the ladder ended up touching the body of the car when tilting up and i scratched off a part of the paint behind the tailgate ledge on top..
also trimmed the foam i installed slightly thinner, and it helped a little but not enough.

any tips before i go again? since the ladder is bought used, i guess there is no help to be had from front runner..

I recall needing to bend mine to achieve suitable alignment using a couple of long lengths of gal pipe for leverage. It was many years ago so I don’t remember misalignment detail or direction but once on it’s been without issue ever since. Sorry I can’t offer any concrete tips other than keep trying

    Cheers,
