Which BMW X5 17” wheels that are compatible with Disco 3?

From the old threads on here there are three different styles of BMW X5 17” wheels that are a direct fit onto the Disco 3 (with Gorilla wheel nuts imported from the USA). From what I can find in the old threads these are:

    BMW wheel style 57 in 7.5 x 17 ET40 http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/57

    BMW wheel style 130 in 7.5 x 17 ET48 http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/130

and…? Anyone able to advise the third please? The linked sale ads and pictures are no longer valid to identify it. Perhaps BMW wheel style 56 7.5 x 17 ET40 http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/56 ?

I have the 130 style but you will need different wheel nuts with more thread on them.

The LR centre caps also fit.

I had what looks like your style 130 but their offset was +40, not 48. The other 2 linked styles also fit and they all require the long shank nuts. I thought mine looked the best, being similar to the LR 18"rims.

I agree that the Style 130’s are the best looking option. All the BMW websites indicate that they are ET48 which is strange given the other two which are the same size, show as ET40. It would be good to see the back of the spokes of one to confirm.

I used to have a picture of the rim casting showing +40 which I can still visualise but which surprisingly I can't find. I was mindful that the 13mm more positive offset was right on the legal limit of half an inch. I also replaced the suspension of an old Coromal pop-top van with a solid axle and X5 rims, using the single flower pattern rim that I had as the spare.

101RS might be able to provide a picture.

    Style 130 are 40 offset.

    (Image from an eBay listing).

They are a good looking wheel - bought a set for the D3 for $450 before I came across a set of the LR 17 inch rims for $150. So I then sold the BMW rims for $600.
