    Rear e-diff won't engage

2013 Disco 4 TDV6 SE. Rear e-diff will not engage lately. No failure presented on the UI. The symbol remains green on the screen and certainly my butt feel says it's not there, car runs on TC. Central e-diff engages as usual.
Yes I am sure the car has a rear e-diff, it did work well for 30 months before.
Yes I drive rocky hilly terrain where the rear e-diff makes a very noticeable difference.
Does anyone have relevant experience to share?
    Thank you! Micha

Have you checked for e-diff fault codes?

No fault codes, as much as I could gather.
I am using Car Scanner app and ELM327 dongel. It definitely communicates with the car and reflects sensors, rpm etc.
But upon searching for trouble codes it returns 'no diagnostics trouble codes found'. I somehow find this too good to be true.

You will need to use a LR-specific tool that will interrogate the e-diff module and all other associated modules.

    Update:
Indy plugged in, cleared a fault, ran tests on the e-diff and all seems fine.
I tested the e-diff myself on the way home and it engages as expected.
    Let's see if it holds.

    Update and hopefully wrap up:
A couple of trips later, the e-diff works fine. Or almost.. There was only one occurrence somewhere along the first trip where it did not engage, only for a few minutes.
So I still eye the screen nervously every time I need it, and thankfully the rear e-diff turns red.
Anyway last trip it was perfect and the car did it's normal wonders.
This car is SO good offroad, cannot have enough of it Rear e-diff won't engage.

Does the D4 have the ability to engage and disengage the e-locker diff manually?
