D3 reverse camera with original screen

    Hey all,
I have a late build D3 HSE, and I'm trying to integrate a reverse camera into the original screen. I have an aftermarket camera from another D3, I've got everything working EXCEPT - the inbuilt screen wants a PAL signal and my camera is NTSC. I know the screen is capable of accepting an NTSC signal through the hidden menu, but I can't find a way to make that selection stick. Am I missing something, or do I need to find a PAL camera somewhere (not easy)...
    Cheers,
    Matt

If anyone's done it or knows how it'll be Cambo. That's just one of his threads, go looking. Dunno if he's still active but you could still find what you want.

You need to cut a wire somewhere to enable the RRS mode for reverse camera, check the Disco3 UK forum for a write up.

I've done that. Reverse camera appears on the screen but unfortunately it's unusable.

Factory cameras are NTSC so that’s a bit odd.

You plugged it into the brown fakra connector?

And you edited the CCF correctly?

    Thanks for the reply Cambo.
I need to confirm I'm plugged into the brown connector. I am getting a picture - it just has the sync line about 1/3 of the way through like it's the wrong standard. If I look at the video input directly I can make the picture usable by pressing the NTSC/PAL button, but it doesn't remember the change.
I believe I've edited the CCF correctly. When I select reverse I gat a black screen with no camera connected, and the unusable picture mentioned if I connect the camera. I will confirm I'm in the brown connector tomorrow.
