The narrower bars are a better fit as the factory rails are roughly 1200mm but taper to the front, ie not parallel.

						SubscriberHi All,
Shops are selling the 1375mm long vortex bars for my 2014 Disco 4 but I measured and the 1260mm bar looks like it fits better! How do I get that instead without being stung. Also getting 3 bars for the long track is a pain in the A!

Further to the above taper, the roof rails also curve vertically. I have the three bars at 1375mm and thought at first they were too wide until I fitted the awning. See below. Note the spacer on the rear bracket to account for the vertical curve.

Are you sure you need three bars?
I had the original Rhino Fox Wing awning up there and a RTT at times on two HD bars with no issues for 10yrs and did a heap of touring.
My bars sat on Rhino legs, which fitted on a Rhino Track.
Have the same set up on the Tojo, two bars,no issues either.
We had to use the longer bars,i have a feeling they were close to 1400mm long, without checking.
