    Braking and Delay on the accelerator

    So since I had a new job and company UTE one of those Japanese things.... I haven't drove the D4 in a few months ......sod paying for fuel


    I had a drive in the D4.............well that was fun, The wife has been driving it and usually I'm just a passenger from the pub....lol

    Things I need to do

    Make the thing stop I have forgotten how it brakes but looking to give the brakes a good refresh Disc and pads all round and flush the brake fluid out, any recommendations on brakes ( I don’t want to do the upgrade unless it fits around the stock 18 alloys

    The delay when pressing the accelerator , two thoughts fluid change on the trans (it needs this) and adaptations reset any thing else

    Akebono brake pads and RDA rotors make a good combo, braided lines and a caliper piston seal kit throughout will make it stop on the button.

    An EVC throttle controller makes the response on the go pedal so much better.

    Dont reset adaptations if you havent rebuilt the transmission

    Agreed, i read that you should only reset adaptions if you have changed any hardware or rebuilt the box.

    Correct, after say a valve body rebuild (new seals, solenoids, o rings and so on), you need to reset. If only doing a fluid flush then no need to reset.
