Intermitent AC/Heater Fan - HDC Fault Code & Christmas Lights

    Morning All

    Random one for you all.

My AC/Heater fan is working intermittently, where recently I have started my D3 and the fan isn't blowing air. I will play around with it (turn on & off) and then if by magic it will come to life. Other times when I start my D3 there is no issues with the fan.
The fan works in the middle/rear rows but nothing up front?
So, before I start pulling the dash apart to look for any loose wiring etc, has anyone come across this prior and if so what was the fix.

Also, most likely not related but I have had the good old HDC fault flash up along with a magical display of warning lights on my dash, I simply stop the car, turn off and on again and the faults are gone (on the dash anyway) I will run a scan and check the battery to see what the HDC issue is.

Living in WA with the current temperatures we are experiencing, to say I need my fan working is an understatement.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

It looks as though the relay is the issue. Appears to be not seated correctly in the fuse box not creating a good contact.
I have just reseated the relay in the fuse box and all seems to be working as it should.

This loose connecting may have caused the HDC error message also.
