These are the dimensions for an aftermarket solid steel nut which match the LR dimensions and look to be the same style as the Tuffant nuts:
And these are an alternative which have a shorter shank and similar to the style sold by Bits4Blokes:
What is not shown is the dimension for the threaded section within the shorter shank nut. As long as there is enough additional thread, and the stud sits proud of the rim to give a starter thread, then they may achieve the minimum 9.33 turns with a thinner hub rim.

Well the feedback on the Tuffant Nuts seems overwhelming so I will have to concede to the points made. I have emailed the seller on the nuts so will wait to see what they have to say.

I think the taper on the end of the shank would allow use of this nut to fasten a pressed steel wheel if necessary, say a non-standard, or speed-limited spare.
