What do you mean? You said you had factory and then bought some new ones off eBay? The link you shared isn’t for these?

Do you think Tuff Ant make their own nuts? I did not say I bought off ebay - I bought online from a supplier in Melbourne. The Tuff Ant nuts are the same as I got off my supplier.

Sorry. You linked to “bits for blokes”

I’m not sure how you think these are the same? End profile different a little? Length??

What do you think? Wheel Nuts

These are the dimensions for the original LR nuts:

These are the dimensions for an aftermarket solid steel nut which match the LR dimensions and look to be the same style as the Tuffant nuts:

And these are an alternative which have a shorter shank and similar to the style sold by Bits4Blokes:

What is not shown is the dimension for the threaded section within the shorter shank nut. As long as there is enough additional thread, and the stud sits proud of the rim to give a starter thread, then they may achieve the minimum 9.33 turns with a thinner hub rim.

Not the same at all. The Tuffant nuts have matching dimensions to the factory nuts in every respect, except they’re solid where the socket sits. The thread length, taper and shoulder are all the same as factory

Yep. If you want solids (and you should because they're fail safe) go Tuffant.

Well the feedback on the Tuffant Nuts seems overwhelming so I will have to concede to the points made. I have emailed the seller on the nuts so will wait to see what they have to say.

    Thanks for all the input.

    Taper at the shank end

    Friends, may I chime in?
I think the taper on the end of the shank would allow use of this nut to fasten a pressed steel wheel if necessary, say a non-standard, or speed-limited spare.
    Cheers, rob S

I have seen them used as such but as there was no steel wheel option apart from a space saver in some markets i'm not sure they were designed for it.
