SupporterWould anyone know who manufactures the main ECU/ BCU whatever you wish to call it. The one behind the glovebox. Either the manufacturer or where I might be able to find the manufacturer without removing it.
Thanks in advance

If you're talking about the Body Control Module / Central Junction Box it's made by LEAR Global Automotive Tech Leader | Lear Corporation
Not sure why you're asking though, they will not provide you with any support or information, as far as they're concerned it's a Land Rover product.

SupporterWell the cloning process for the D3 BCM is well known & documented.
Basically if you have an xhorse VVDI then you can clone one BCM into another.
It's been the solution for a while because to get a brand new BCM it has to come from the UK with new keys as well.
Whoever wrote the software for the D3 BCM was a genius, it won't allow any access for programming unless a valid key is present and the ignition turned on.
