Thread: BMW X5 17" wheel nuts - alternatives to Gorilla 68148

The Gorilla 68148 seem to be scarce at the moment with the US sites all being out of stock.



Any ideas if either of the following alternatives would be suitable:

Same dimensions as the Gorilla units, except the angle of the seat/taper isn't stated and the bottom ID looks to be 1.352mm larger.

TRS UK M14 x 1.5, 19mm Hex Alloy Wheel Nuts With 6mm Shank (Zinc)
The shank is 1.62mm less than the Gorilla units so may not achieve enough turns of thread on the studs? And, the overall length is 1.56mm less but I think that's less of a factor.

Very happy with them.

They will not fit the BMW X5 wheels - which require the style of nuts in the original post.
