What vehicle ? , year, engine, trans spec etc. Could be as simple as a dirty MAF or MAP, split IC hose, cracked manifold, loose intake pieces, worn intake orings.

						SupporterHi
Just taking my Landy down the street and the red error light pops up. Error message reads "reduced performance" and that's it. No other clues as to what the issue is.
Phone the dealer (Lennocks Canberra), no help at all. Advice was to get it towed somewhere, not to them as they weren't accepting any and book the vehile in, normal time 5 to 10 days.
Indeed there was reduced performance. Struggled to get to 2000 rpm.
I wasn't far from home so made it back at a slow rate.
Stopped and started again, same message.
With ignition on but engine not started, cleared the error. Seemed OK, but came back about the same distance from home.
Same again, but the error message styed off and all normal.
Any clues on what this might be?
If it was my tractor, I would think it a fuel blockage, but no way of knowing with Landy.
Any help appreciated, otherwise I will book it in and see what they say.
TIA
John B

SupporterLooks like the restricted performance issue might be a cracked manifold - see other lengthy thread on ALRO.
Lifted off the engine cover and found that the RHS manifold cover is "oily", probably diesel and the LHS completey dry.
The bottom line here is where should I go for the fix.
Looking for any recommendations please.
Canberra seems to have five that advertise LR repairs:
Lennocks - it will take 5 to 10 days to book in
Series Workshop - last time I tried here it was going to take six months to book in.
Roverworks
Everlast - seems a bit to general
ACDC (Automotive Computer Diagnostic Centre)
Recommendations appreciated.
Thanks
John B
