Thread: Restricted performance error code

Hi mines an L320 RRS SDV6 but posting here as engines are same. I occasionally get a Restricted performance error see photo attached. I clear it with my GAP tool and it can be 3-6 months before it pops up again. This occurred when I was on steady cruise at 100kmh. Appreciate any advice.

Have you checked the movement of your turbo actuators. From my experience you need to check it when the turbo is hot ideally when the fault has just occurred. They can move fine when cool but when hot you can see them sticking.
