    Exhaust Smell driver side - D4 TDV6 2011

New to Land Rover. I recently purchased a D4 TDV6 2011. It started smelling gas exhaust on the driver side under the wheel. There is no smell in the cabin. What could it be due?

Welcome to LR. I'd be checking the exhaust manifold on that side, working your way down to check for other exhaust leaks. Look for tell tale black soot traces. Could also be EGR valve on that side, the actuator is visible from the top looking down between front strut mount and engine.

There’s a crossover across the top of the bell housing but you should also be losing boost and getting faults with any serious leak before the turbo as well as plenty of soot.
