As for another, well the new Ranger SuperDuty looks like it will be awesome, if you can deal with a dual cab. (Wonder if Ford will bring some of the upgrades to the Everest). 4500kg towing is a game changer. With ball weight scales built in, ffs.
It looks very interesting. I'm just finishing refurbishing a Formula 233 boat and it has come in at 3.6t (full of fuel and water so can be about 3.25t empty) it has me thinking of tow options. One of the US trucks are unappealing but the Ranger is a perfect size. I'd struggle with the Ranger image and I love my LR so struggle to contemplate changing but...

Look, mate. I see what you're saying.
Being the sort of bloke that I am, I more than willing to swap a 13'6" tinny with 15hp tiller steer, for the Formula, to ease your towing quandary. No questions asked. Both tinny and motor in excellent condition.

    PM me if interested

Are you concerned about climate change?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Burning oil when using revs after an oil change is another indicator that the plug may have failed as the oil flows into the separator flooding it so oil goes out with crankcase vapour into the inlet.
