i just selected a universal canbus adapter.

do any of your can bus work with the stereo ? do the steering controls work ?

Breakthrough ! I just had a deeper look into the apps installed, and i found it was actually a different one that does the 4x4 info screen, same icon, but called 'car setting' i was able to launch it from an app explorer to confirm its the right one. And now when i explore the apk it has mention of 4x4 info, where the other one did not, which got me suspicious.

Yes al buttons work and extra functions that i have programmed to them.

apart from buttons, do you have other can dialog ? (steering buttons dont use can, though they can be relayed by the can decoder)

I can't download the apk, getting error

oh hi, i removed it thinking it may not be usable by others. i can reshare, what is your situation ? do you have can decoder and head unit ?
