And I wonder where these mystical new engines are being built?
The Ford engine factory stopped producing engines round 2016 or 19 ish and now I believe is a body pressing plant.
I call total horse ****, its people being told "yes its a new crate engine"

The last 3.0 lt I got "new" in a crate looked new but had a U.K engine recon company label in the crate.

but yes..... there are chinese companies producing these engines, sounds like the OP story might be one of them
