    D3 2.7 excessive turbo lag.

Over the last month or so i've noticed the turbo lag is getting worse, no DTC's but a definite delay between stomping on the go pedal and when you start moving.
To the point that i almost let a LC79 beat off the lights until he went for 2nd cog and i left him behind, i noticed some extra oily residue on the throttle body so have ordered a seal kit to replace those big orings and will look at the turbo actuator to see of that's sticking.
I will be fitting the big IC shortly so will also look for excessive oil in the hoses although i have blanked my EGR's so there is very little sludge getting thru.

Anything else to look at ?

If you have a GAP tool monitor boost pressure it will give you an accurate guide if it’s performing correctly especially up a hill. Shane Shed has videos on YouTube doing this and he eventually found the crossover pipe behind engine was cracked so you’ll see lots of exhaust muck around the top of gearbox.

Unless EGR is disabled, the MAP sensor may need cleaning.

EGR's were blanked 5 years, they still function but not mapped out. I made some blanking plates that slip in-between them and the coolers.
Euro4 so occasionally get a code on my Gap tool but never get a CEL or other errors related to it.
