Yes. Pulls out. Easy to access via the wheel arch
How difficult is it to replace the windscreen washer pumps on a D4 ?
I "bumped" into a rock with the left corner bash plate below the bullbar the other day and it pushed the windscreen washer bottle back enough to snap the two hose fittings off one of the washer pumps (unfortunately the one for the front windscreen). Have managed to block off the broken spigots with some putty for now. Was thinking of swapping the two pumps over as they appear to be identical and I never use the rear washer anyway (at least not intentionally), but a replacement pump is only about $65 so will order one online.
Does the pump simply pull out of the bottom of the bottle and a new one "push" in (probably using a new rubber grommet if one is supplied with the new pump), or is it more involved. I can get reasonable access to the two pumps by either removing the left front wheel (or possibly enough by turning the steering) and pulling back the wheel arch liner.

And it’s not front and rear they are the same pump. The other outboard pump is the headlight jet.
Yes rubber grommet goes into the plastic tank then the pump goes into the rubber grommet. You get a new grommet with pump.
All Fourxhas them good aftermarket.
Thanks for that. New pump on the way.
