Thread: EPB U3000-4B - over temperature (2B)

D4 EPB fault when attempting to apply it, possibly existing since the body was R&R'd. The EPB doesn't apply.
It seems to be a common DTC if the shoes need adjusting. The shoes were just now cleaned and adjusted but no change.
Any suggestions?

If the fault won't clear or keeps returning perhaps the cable is gummed up in the sheath and is not moving causing the actuator motor to overheat.
