    D3 engine mounts

Mate has a D3 TDV6 has left engine mount is cactus.
Besides the very expensive LR ones, are the Britcrap or others (mostly made in china) any good.
Was quoted $850 and another one for $1100 plus parts.
    He will be replacing both.

Whenever I do a job on these bastard cross-breeds of Ford and Landrover, I ask myself a simple question. "Is this a job I want to do twice?". The answer inevitably leads me to buy genuine parts. No issue using "OEM" parts for easy stuff though. I've only bought britpart three times. A set of rubber door bumpers, a door lock assembly and a brake light switch.

The rubber bumpers turned to jelly in 9 months, the door lock assembly lasted about 18 months before failing and the brake switch is kept in its box in the car as a "hail mary".
I bought LR door bumpers at great expense and 5 years on they're still good. I rebuilt the original door lock with a new motor and that's good too.

I also went genuine for the clutch and associated bits.
