I don't pay for my servcing but I had my first service (12000k) 2 weeks ago and spied the price list which was $530 for the first service for the V6.
E-mail from a D3 owning friend of mine
"Garry
I had the disco 1st service yesterday. Basically just an oil change and a check for loose nuts. I got a huge shock, and paid $657 for the service. $300 labour and $205 for 0/40 synthetic mobil oil plus a few other things like filters and wiper washer fluid.
I cannot believe it."
Just under $200 for engine oil would seem a bit extreme.
The stealers had the car.

ripped off.
supply your own oil.
Michael.
take it elsewhere.
Thanks for that - the guy is ready to have a shot at the stealer. This D3 is used for what it was designed - at 12,000km it is already showing its use with heaps of scratches from its offroad adventures - reliability is great though.
The dog loves the rear a/c
