    Seat Covers

    Hi All,
I've seen a number of mentions of seat covers. The Michelle's Sacs comments were particularly complimentary.

I've looked at a number of other sites, but the covers look loose & untidy.

I contacted Michelle's Sacs today, only to be told that they don't make covers for the D3 due to deployment issues with the airbags. For the life of me, I can't see the problem; but nevertheless, they aren't making seatcovers.

Am I right, that I'm going to be restricted to LR seatcovers?

Fiesta Canvas in Kalgoorlie WA does some for the front. I haven't seen them so I don't know about airbag compatibility.

I believe that there are airbags in the front seats themselves.

I got sheep skin seat covers for the front seats of mine. Made to fit the D3 headrests and air bag deployment. Very comfortable for long trips and easy to keep clean when we go on bush or beach trips.

The problem is the airbags in the seats. Our Forester has sheepskin covers but they don't cover the bolsters where the side cushion airbags are. They are a Brazilian landing strip on the seat.

    Thanks All,
You are quite right, I've checked & there are airbags located in the front seats (but not in the 2nd row seats).

I think I'll go with the LR covers just for safety.
