    UHF Arial

    Hi all,

Has anyone fitted an arial for a UHF radio on the slot on the roof at the rear (on top) which is for the hans free phone arial and if so can you supply me with some details on how it was done. There really is no where to put the arial.

    UHF antenna

Try one of the antennas that stick on the inside of the windscreen. I have one and it will surprise you with the range. They sell for approx $70.

I found them here. Am going to get one of them to try, as they look quite a good idea.

However, I think I'd also like to try and find a way of covertly mounting at least the base for a proper aerial for when out in the middle of nowhere, as I just don't see these giving the range needed for anything other than convoy use.
