I'm more interested in the handling to be honest. The Wranglers do not seem to handle very well so my choice would be mainly based upon that aspect.

    any thoughts out there?

The old man got his D3 S with Coopers on it, and they appear to be wearing ok, so I went down that path. Time will tell if I made the right choice, but at least I have the 60,000K warranty.

    Had a look at Yokahama Geolander A/T + 2.
Look a great alrounder and some good feed back.
Seem good also around town with not much road noise.
I will price them today and advise !!
    Cheers Dave

I have been doing a bit of reserch and most reckon the Wranglers are not an option.
A few makes seem worth enquries are the Yokohama Geolander A/T + 2 or Geolander A/ T-S G012.
Another is Cooper ST 265/70 17" or Cooper ATR All Terrain.
At least Coopers have a 60,000kms warranty also.
Will price them today and advise !

I know someone with BF Goodrich KM2's on there car 17's as well he seems pretty happy with them although I dont think he has done enough k's to give a true report on how they are going...

    this is his car...

I do have other pictures but they all show his number plate and I dont think he would appreicate it so this is the best one I have for you to see his wheels and tyres
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

I was going to post something like that ;-)

Those are BFG muddies, 245/70/17 on custom steel 17x8 rims. The wheelcaps are stock -- off a Commodore, which shares the 5/120 PCD. I have the owner's details if required and so does DB.

Continentals are a make, not a model. So which one. Also for which purpose. Can't comment without both.

Most tyre shops have little idea about 4WDs and just recommend whatever fits, or whatever the manufacturer recommends.
