    Smile Brake Controller Location

Has anyone got any advice as where best to locate and Electric Brake controller in a D3. I am wanting to install a Prodigy controller. The obvious location is on the slope where the drivers legs go. The issue is not enough space as when my wife drives the D3 she will hit the controller there with her knee (as she has to pull the seat right forward to reach the pedals). So am at a bit of a lose as where to locate. Thought of on the dash between the instumention panel and the drivers side A Pillar or in the centre consol where the cigarette lighter and ash tray are currently located. Would appreciate any advice (Any photo's if anyone has any) on where best to locate it. Thanks William

    Hi William,
If u have/or getting the Prodigy, from memory it can be fitted in a cage holder. Therefore when not in use it can be unclipped & removed & no interference from the missus' knee's.
    That way everyone is happy

    brake controller

I don't know how big the prodigy is but I installed a hayman reece controller into the carpet just below the plastic on the centre transmission tunnel.
It fits (snuggly) between the seat and the console. Fiddle a bit with the seat position but there may be enough room.
