Thread: Disco 3 Tailgate Problem

Hi Micon,
Unfortunately u will need a new tailgate latch as the old has died by the sounds of it. Has someone been playing with the button? These will stop functioning after consecutive pushes as the bi-metallic strip inside overheats & disconnects. Thus saving the lock from burning out.

If not then u a latch & will probably need a new tailgate trim panel also as to gain access to the old latch we need to make a large hole in the trim.
