Early D3s had a bush settle problem and the wheel alignment went out quickly.
To do it properly you should get the dealer to do a geometry set first with a full tank of fuel. Then have the alignment done and geometry set cancelled.
Tell your dealer about it and they may do one for free, if you service with them.

We drive mainly in the country on local (both black stuff and gravel) and highways, Tyre pressure is kept below 34lbs, wheels are balanced every service.

On our third set of tyres, Goodyear originals lasted 24,000, Cooper HT plus 30,000, General grabbers 32,000 still going however now showing signs of wear.

    Thanks.
I got terrible mileage out of the Goodyears too, absolute rubbish and so have replaced them with Cooper HT's. These have a 60,000km guarantee, but I see you only got 30,000kms from yours. Did you get a pro rata refund? I suspect you should up your tyre pressures as 34 is a bit low. I have heard that the LR recommended pressures are deliberately low to improve ride quality so I run mine at 40psi. I've only just put the Coopers on so can't comment on how long they'll last, but would be interested to hear about your thoughts on them.

At 40 psi I found the cooper Ht+s to be too hard, Stick to the LR figures or just above. I run 35 front 38 rear.

If you were dealing with Canberra, that may be your problem.

I have heard terrible stories about service problems with the old dealership. Hopefully, the new one (Lennocks?) will be a lot better.

Guys.. I had all 4 tires wearing out in the center. Had a wheel alignment done, but one tire still continued to wear,, went to local tire store.. they found that the camber bolt stripped , When I chatted to my LR dealer, and they said there is a recall on the bolts, and will be replaced under warranty, after that mine appears to be ok.. But LR say to get a wheel alignment done ever 12 months..
