    Rules state 300mm max from road to body / bottom of flap
    If your vehicle meets this then no mud flaps required!

    Besides, the 09MY D3 doesn't come standard with rear mudflaps anymore. They're an accessory only now.

    Apparently, there's been a rule change somewhere along the line (well, that's what I was told anyway).

    In the context of this thread they are required. Fitted from new, must stay there.

    Yup./..me too got genuine replacements foe about same price/pair. Oldies collecting dust in shed awaiting the same attention as CaverD3's.

    I used pop rivets and coloured cork. Has held up well so far. Oh and repaird old by plastic welding witha soldering iron.

    - Wow - wondering where you got them? We need front and rear mud spats for the new disco 3 we got and the dealer has quoted us $450 for the set fitted. Be interested to know where you got yours done!
