If its got air suspension, have a look on top of the rear diff to see if there's a diff lock actuator motor & wiring harness.
Driving past a local car yard today, saw a silver D3 in the yard, so I go in and have a look. ARB bullbar with TMax electric winch, long range fuel tank, OL roof rack, OL swing out rear wheel carrier, 5 seats, leather interior, TDV6. 45,000 k's, bloke said the previous owner used it for a lap around Oz. Price $46,000.
I'm interested in trading the D2 in on it. Any issues to look at re. the D3 and that vintage? Any help appreciated.

You don't say what model it is or what year.
With 5 seats it may be an S, if so, may be coils without Terrain Response.
If so, Decision Time. Don't want to start an argument, but me, I would not be without air suspension and TR.
Is is still under warranty? Does it have a full service history? When mine gets to 3 years, I will definately be getting extended warranty if I can.
Manufacture date was 06/06. Lack of terrain response would put me off too. Don't recall seeing the terrain response button in the console. Will go back and have a look.
