    Hi
I have been interested in the lift rods for a while but my question is, at these higher setings, at what angle are the drive shafts ie CVs / uni,s whatever at? I have broken CV joints in my Defender befor when giving to much grunt into a turn. Sometimes this is needed when you only have 2.5 wheels on the ground. Do you get vibration at higher speeds? When the car go,s to extended mode will the bags pop? Surly they must top out at some point.

If the images WERE changed on the server, explain to me how my WORDING was changed from Off-Road Mode to Extended Mode?????? It would be impossible to invoke Extended Mode in the middle of a field!

Connock - The drive shafts do have a slight increase in angle. We're talking a couple of degrees max. The suspension is well within LR spec for allowable angles. Absolutely no additional vibrations or undue strain on the suspension components. As with stock suspensions, try to avoid a full lock steering input when bumping the throttle. The LR air suspension is designed to accommodate quite a bit of "shock" travel without worry of damage. Standard air bag pressures for Normal Mode hover around 145-155psi. With the Rods, 165-170psi is to be expected. There is a burst pressure of 700+psi. Well within safe operating pressures. The beauty of the Adjustable Rod is that YOU can dial in the amount of lift that suits YOUR needs. Some want 1", some want 2-1/4". No problem. The power is your hands! Cheers.

I can't explain that. You weren't clear about what had changed, I thought perhaps it was the images only.

The admin team has investigated the matter and found no record of any change.

We don't understand why anyone would want to change your post in that way.

The words weren't in any way offensive, we just cannot think of any motivation for a moderator wanting to change. We rarely edit posts and when it is necessary generally we send a PM asking the user to do it, and it's most often for removal of advertising but you're a vendor so that's fine. If we edit we advise the user by PM.

By the way it's not impossible to invoke Extended mode in the middle of a field. Search other posts in this forum for how.

    The only possible explanations are:

    1. A moderator changed your words from Off-Road Mode to Extended Mode and the images, and did this without triggering the audit log, or the logging system failed, and the mod has not owned up to the change or forgotten about it.

    2. A mod changed the post, we know about it, and the whole team is lying to cover it up.

    3. The post was never changed, it was like that in the first place.

    4. You changed the post, or someone using your login did so.

    5. Someone stole a mod login and edited your post, again bypassing the audit system.

I thought perhaps there was a near-identical post with the correct words but that appears not to be the case.

Clearly you think either 1 or 2 is the explanation and unfortunately there's nothing we can do to prove otherwise. All we can say is that if we do discover someone has tampered with your post we'll update this thread and issue an apology.

We hope you have enjoyed AURLO and wish to see you return in any capacity -- this board is open to all Landie enthusiasts and we don't have many Californian LR3 owners here so we wouldn't like to lose the one we have.

Even when a Mod edits a post, there will be an entry visible to all showing that the post was edited by editor's name at time.

Are you sure you didn't make the errors when you made the initial post?

Properties on the photos show that the same photo is used for the two lower pics.

Here is the pic that did not make it

Slug Burner hits the nail on the head! If I had initially made a mistake loading my pictures, THIS would never had existed. It was initially titled Off-Road Mode. My only conclusion is that someone did not want the rest of the forum to see the full extent of my products abilities - for what ever reason. As Caver said, I did not even have the ability to EDIT my post that far back. I am being told that editing ability was not available until mid 2009. I never noticed as editing my posts were a non-issue. His reply was absolutely glossed over. For that, a big Thank You goes to Caver! Spot on! Let's put this to rest. Too much drama already. We all have better things to do.

After confirming with another member here, your original post reply included a link to a thread concerning extended mode. Which, by the way, I found insulting. Now your link is gone. Explain that RMP? AND there is no general note about the EDIT which happened. Hmmm. Clearly, there is technology to manipulate this forum from behind the scenes. Shame on you.

    Well whatayaknow !

What happened to the Disco3.co.uk link in Post #24 ?
It's been pulled WITHOUT ANY EDIT NOTE after posting.
This entire tread shows a serious issue with honesty .
    That's a disgrace .........
Most of us are linked by emails and other Forums , which has provided some very interesting conversations of late.

    Mate, you're paranoid!

Slug Burner finding that pic doesn't prove a thing unless he'd saved it. The properties gives the link to your photobucket site from where it was easy to grab the link.

No Admin or Mod would have edited your post - they'd have no reason to. The Moderator logs show no one edited it. I suspect you screwed up when you made the original post.
