Most of us are linked by emails and other Forums , which has provided some very interesting conversations of late.

As a mod mentioned, it would be easy to prove there was never such a link. You probably got an email notification of my reply to this thread which would have included the post in question. Examine that and you will see there was no link in my post. I'm too lazy for that ;-)

I disagree there is any issue with honesty. That is leaping to an unwarranted conclusion simply because there are events that cannot be explained.

There have been mistakes made, incorrect assumptions drawn....but that isn't the same as dishonesty. If (and it is if) Davey made a mistake in the original post because of the Photobucket issue DB describes he's not being dishonest in thinking his post was modified. We, the mod team, aren't being dishonest when we say we haven't done anything to the post, because we haven't.

Finally let's look at the actual alleged change. Two photos are the same, and the words Offroad Mode have been changed to Extended.

I simply do not see any motivation for anyone to effect these changes. The original wasn't offensive, the changes aren't funny, they aren't witty, the product isn't being denigrated...it's a nothing change, I just can't see why anyone would bother. Long experience with Internet comms tells me that when such things happen, there's a reason, mischief is afoot or ulterior motive. Cannot for the life of me see that here, which indicates inadvertent error more than malice.
