The difference in height with the shorter rods is below the max for suspension lift without an engineers cert.

....... as for insurance problems , they look at tyres and maybe springs
replacements, if they're a different colour ( for a clue ! ). The average assessor wouldn't know what he/she was looking at with a air susp. system. I don't give people too much credit anymore ....... if the vehicle
is second hand, who's to say you altered it ?
Doesn't matter who altered it, you're still liable. You then need to find whoever caused the problem and take them on in turn.

However I can't see this being an issue, it's less than the state regulations for a lift, and indeed LR do run the car at 40kmph at this height.

Not if you've got a Queensland RWC

Great install and write up Neil! I just made a few more sets yesterday for our NorCal / SoCal snow run get together. I had a good laugh yesterday when SWIMBO needed help getting in. We were parked at an angle and she kept sliding out because the Rover was too high! BINGO!

Thanks for a great run Boys and Girls! Looks like my Vendor status will soon expire and things have been quite slow here. I'll continue to provide the Sasquatch Rods as long as there is demand. Visit Lucky8 for ordering information or contact me directly. Cheers!!

I am very sad to say that this has been a less than above the board thread. I am a PAID Vendor member who PAID for the right to post a thread on AULRO. Posts have been edited without the permission of the authors. My attached pictures have also been tampered with. If you look closely, my pictures of Normal Mode and "Extended Mode" are identical pictures. My original pictures included an "Off-Road" mode which showed an additional height change. The "Editor" re-named my Off-Road Mode picture "Extended Mode". This is unacceptable. I am truly at a loss about this. Pointing fingers will do nothing. Pin pointing who has the access to change an authors posts will do nothing. This is sad. I held such a high respect for this site. If for any reason, a member posted a comment or question which was unanswered, I apologize. I feel that I have presented myself with complete professionalism from start to finish regarding this product. It is shocking that I am a paid vendor who was not given a "Fair Shake" over here. Please, this is not a b---- fest. I just find it completely unacceptable for individuals to tinker with others for their own purposes - be it financial, personal or boredom. Truly disappointed with this site.

There is no admin log of changes that I can see to your post. Are you sure the images weren't changed on the server?

Aside from the pictures, what else changed?

I have asked the other mods about it either way.

there has been no tampering with this post as far as i can ascertain.

every post that is modified tells me so and there is no such note attached to this post. the only exception to this note is if you yourself alter it within the first hour or so of it being posted.

i am still investigating but have found nothing to support your claim so far.

looking into it as best i can.

i might add that it even leaves a note if i edit it.
