    Bonnet glare esp from white

What's the glare like from a D3's bonnet especially if its white? I had a white vehicle once and its glare was significantly greater than a mate's fawn one and my RRC would have horrible glare if it was white.

White's not my colour choice but my choice is no longer available.

    Thanks

Our D3 is white and no worries, nothing a pair of sunnys wont fix.
I do think white is a good overall neutral colour to have, as anything you put on the car will enhance its appearance without conflict.

Doesnt white save you around $1800 on any other colour?

I also think white doesnt show scratches, like some of those dark colours.

Had a white d2 & it was great

Does white have a layer of clear over it the way metalics do, or is just colour so that even light scratches are into the colour rather than into clear?

    Graeme,

I do find the bonnet of my white D3 very bright when the sun's low but I've always been sensitive to it, don't know why. But as said above, nothing that a good pair of sunnies won't fix.

No layer of clear on the white that I know of but it definitely hides the scratches better than the metallic colours.

it wouldn't matter what colour the bonnet was, the glare is probably the same as any other car.
if you keep it clean and polished,
the sun will reflect off it.
so to solve your problem, just rock down to supercheap and buy a can of flat black and spray it on, then never wash your bonnet again,
or get up before the sun shines or drive in the dark
    easy.

    Hey Harry,

Blacks great, even when my son runs a black nickko marker all around the car & draws funny faces.
    Works for me.
Only trouble it took three hours to get it off !!!

    Jamo,
How does it look always dirty? Our vehicle never gets washed and white seems to show the dirt. Our desired colour was Atacama Sand (chose it 12 months ago) to disguise the dirt and not be so stark in bright sunlight. We've pretty much decided to wait for the replacement colour in the next model due to having to live with it for many years to come.

Graeme, we saw a new D3SE 09 model yesterday in Silver.
This looked great with the new RR size rims.
Gave it the best look, but havnt got a spare 75k at the moment
