That's all I need... I keep hearing bad things about the Darwin dealer and that's going to be my last dealer service before heading home at the end of September.

Please post up how you find the Perth dealer(s) as I'll need a service over there too.

Darwin mitsubishi, are the LR dealer dead set rip off and useless to boot, didn't reset comp, took 3hrs to service, forgot to fill in service book, hand brake was clunking in ,(jammed on a couple of days later). , charged for washer fluid went to use them later no fluid or water, waited 10 days to book in. was warned but sort of had no choice, now I would drive the 1200km to get service in Alice.. sorry harsh but true Ken

Ken, it's not much different to a few other comments I've had. My only recent experience with them to date was to ask what engine oil to use in the 2008 Defender. Was told that had the Td5 motor, which I questioned, but they told me this was the latest motor in the Defender. They did tell the correct oil for a Td5 at least.

Now as for Sutton's in The Alice, can't speak highly enough of them, very good dealership!

    Hi Roamer,

People's experiences with dealers are always a touchy subject, but if you phone Southern LR in Cannington and ask for Rob (tell him I recommended you speak to him) I'm sure he'll do his best to look after you. Alternatively, if you want an independent, try Kevin at RoverTech in Bentley - he has the AutoLogic service tool.

PM me if you need phone numbers.

    Cheers,

    Gordon

Agree with Gordon - I use Southern LR in Cannington where I bought mine and they have been excellent. Seem expensive, but do a good job and are friendly. Also had a minor dunch fixed for nixs.

I agree with Gordon too. Joe at Southern LR is also good to deal with.

Franzone Motors in East Perth; ask for John; he owns a tricked up D3 and services mine; you wont find better.
