    Can any one recommend a mechanic to service my Disco 3 in the Cairns area.

    I would suggest Hypertuned Land Rover on Hartley street. I normally get my parts from him but do the work myself (but only running a 300tdi defender so...) but i know he has all the electronic diagnostic equipment etc

    Ask Hypertuned about your needs. About one year ago I was up there needing parts coming back from the Cape. They seemed very professional and friendly and were happy to spend the time to find out exactly what I needed. They were 1/2 the price of the anointed LR agent in town. Again, I did the work and they supplied the parts. The workshop looked very busy clean and tidy. If I lived in Cairns I would use them for sure.
