G'day Stewmair, yes they will fit really well with heaps of room, they are 2mm smaller in diameter than the 18" Cooper HT+ that I am using now and they go up there just fine.

Re tyres, the Light Truck D694's are not available for 6-8 weeks, Bummer

I will be getting a new set of front rotors and pads and fit them this weekend then I'll refit one of the new rims to recheck clearances, its getting tight in the gap between caliper and spokes with new rotors and pads closing it further.

The new BB6 Rims at 45mm offset fit the D3 rather well; I will have to check the number of threads the wheel nuts engage, but as there is an extra 7mm of thread for my rims at 45mm offset versus the normal 38mm this should be an extra 4.5 turns of the wheel nut to engage the stud.

Got the rotors and pads but had to go back for the wear sensor as mine was past it, but no alarm appeared to tell me so.

With 45mm offset brake caliper is close to the wheel spokes.

Because I had damaged the wear sensor it had to be replaced, unfortunately this meant removing the plastic wheel arch shroud to get access to the connecting plug. That’s it with the red wires going to the wiring loom.

It’s all good fun if you are retired.
