    Remote Air Suspension Control

    The manual for the D3 says you can program the 3rd button on the remote control, the Land Rover button to one of three functions, panic mode, courtesy lights or remote air suspension control. I am able to program the first two with no problems and when I attempt to program the suspension control, it chimes to say it is programmed, but when you try to use it nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong, or is it disabled in Australia or on the SE model?

    Also you can supposedly fold in the side mirrors by pushing down on the mirror adjust button, and this also doesn't work, again is there something wrong? or does this not apply to the SE?

    First up, the manual talks about all the possible things that the D3 can do, but as I found out when I bought mine, this doesn't mean yourcar will do it all.

    The folding mirrors is a case in point. I had this argument with the LR dealer and lost.

    As for programming the key to operate the suspension; my '07 SE will do it. I'm 6'3" and my Mrs is 5'2" so when I first got the car I programmed her key so the car would start and stop in access mode. Having said that she never uses the programmed key, only mine

    It works from the key fob with the hazard lights on.

    Ahh is that the problem, you have to have the hazard lights on before it will work? I was hoping that as you were approaching the car, you could press the remote keys and have it drop to access height.

    I was hoping that too Andrew.

    I thought of rigging a radio remote switch to the hazards but a lot signals go through the switch.

    I bet its pretty simple to get around if you know what you are doing, but that is the problem you have to know what you are doing.

    Take the facia off and see how many wires are connected to it.

    Now which one to connect to?

    Basically they ran out of arguments and I ran out of steam. Seems that LR UK come out with a new model and what it's got it's got. I bought an early 2007 model but for a demo had drove a late, earlier model.

    Argued the case on auto door locking, some trip computer functions, folding mirrors, etc, and lost. There was nothing the dealer could do.....etc...

    My 2 bosses have just bought new '09 D3 SE's and they again are subtly different to mine, ie trip computer functions.
