    AC Condensate drain

    Simple question I hope Where under the car does the AC condensate drain from?

    From the evaporator core behind the bottom of the centre console.

    Insanity, whoever designed that needs to be taken out and shot, I remember they had to do this to my TD5 when the drain blocked and it constantly poured hot water over my left foot when driving. Took them 2 days in the workshop to fix as it involved removing the entire dash and steering column etc. lucky it was under warranty, I hate to think what that would cost if you were paying for it yourself.

    Did they try poking a wire up from underneath?

    Yeah, I used to do that regularly but it would only take a couple of weeks for it to block up again, and as it was getting to the end of the warranty I wanted it fixed before it became my responsibility.
